This policy applies to movestudiopgh.com, the MOVE Power Yoga mobile app (iOS and Android), and services provided at our studio.

Account and contact details, including your name, email, phone number, address, date of birth, and emergency contact. Payment information, which is securely processed through Stripe, our trusted payment processor; we do not store full card numbers. Booking and attendance records, including classes reserved, attended, cancelled, and missed, along with your purchase and membership history. Health information, limited to health conditions, injuries, pregnancy status, and physical limitations you choose to disclose on intake forms or waivers. Device and usage information when you use our app or website, including device identifiers, push-notification tokens, diagnostic and crash logs, and IP address. Photographs and recordings taken in the studio, as described in our Terms & Conditions.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION:

We use your data to deliver and schedule classes, process transactions, communicate with you about your account, schedule, and promotions, personalize your experience, and operate, secure, and improve our app and website. Instructors use disclosed health information solely to modify or restrict your participation for your safety.

HEALTH INFORMATION:

We access and collect health information only when you provide it to us through intake forms, waivers, or directly to our staff. It is used only to support your safe participation in classes. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties other than the service provider that hosts our booking platform.

WHO WE SHARE WITH:

We share your data with trusted service providers who help us operate, including our booking and app platform, payment processing, and email and SMS delivery, all bound by strict confidentiality agreements and permitted to use your data only to provide services to us. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of our community.

DATA RETENTION:

We retain personal information, including signed waivers and disclosed health information, for as long as your account is active and thereafter only as long as necessary to meet tax, accounting, insurance, and legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion at any time, and we will retain only what applicable law requires.

SECURITY:

Industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, are in place to protect your information from unauthorized access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

YOUR RIGHTS & CHOICES:

You have the right to access, update, export, or delete your data, and to withdraw consent, at any time by emailing hello@movestudiopgh.com. You may also request account deletion from within the app. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the instructions included in each message. We respond to requests within 30 days.

CHILDREN:

Our services are intended for adults. Minors may participate only with the consent of a parent or guardian, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY:

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice.

By creating an account, booking a class, or using our app or website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy, along with our Terms & Conditions and Waiver and Release of Liability publicly posted on our website.
